Beverly McCartney Bradley, formerly of Stoneboro and Cochranton, Pa, passed away at 11:25 PM, Sunday, November 5, 2017 in Crawford County Care Center after a lifetime battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was 84.
Born November 6, 1932 in Royal Oak, Michigan, she was a daughter of Charles F. and Bernice I. Ladds Guynn.
She was a member of the last graduating class of the former Sandy Lake High School in 1950.
In early years Bev worked at the Cooper-Bessemer, Grove City and then the Isaly's store, Sandy Lake and along with her husband owned and operated a dairy farm in Lake Township for many years. Most of all she was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family.
She had been a longtime member of the Clarks Mills United Methodist Church.
She married Gerald E. McCartney October 3, 1953 and he preceded her in death September 30, 1975, she then married Glenn Bradley in 1988 and he died in 1991. Survivors include a daughter Brenda (Daniel) Kantz, Cochranton, Pa; three sons: Dale B. (Vicky) McCartney, Chardon, Oh, Jeffrey A. (Lori) McCartney, Albuquerque, NM and Duane E. (Maria) McCartney, Cleveland, Oh; seven grandchildren: Ryan McCartney, Devin (Melissa) McCartney, Daniel (Heather) Easley, Laurie (Carlos) Rodriguez, Courtney (Hector) Chavez, Dina (Alfonso) Messina and Kyler Kantz and three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Joyce Greenlee, Franklin, Pa and Nancy (Bruce) Opitz, Grove City, Pa; two brothers: Gerald Guynn, Gulfport, LA and Brian Guynn, Kansas City MO.
In addition to her parents and husbands, an infant granddaughter Sarah McCartney preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers the family requests material tributes to: National MS Society, Allegheny District Chapter, 1501 Reedsdale St., #105, Pittsburgh, PA 15233 or to the Clarks Mills United Methodist Church.
