Brian's Story

Brian K. (Woody) Ebbert, age 60, of Hartstown, PA passed away on July 3, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, PA following a brief hospital stay. He was surrounded by his immediate family.
Brian was born May 8, 1957 in Meadville Pa, son of Alice (Voorhies) Ebbert and George William Ebbert Sr. Brian graduated from Conneaut Lake High School in 1975. Brian worked at Talon in Meadville PA and Carrara Steel in Erie PA. He loved the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He enjoyed watching Pirates baseball.
Brian is survived by his wife of 39 years, Nancy (Reese) Ebbert of Hartstown, a daughter Ashley Wygant and her husband Jacob of Hartstown and a son Brandon Ebbert of Hartstown and his dog Zeus. He is also survived by his sisters Elwilda Bell of Cochranton, Rita Rendulic and her husband John of Conneaut Lake, Delores Brady and her husband William of Taylor, South Carolina. Also a sister in law, Linda Ebbert of Madison Ohio. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.
Brian was preceded in death by both his parents, Alice Ebbert and George William Ebbert Sr., a brother; George William Ebbert Jr. (Bill), a brother in law; Russel Bell and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 1-3 and 6-8, with the funeral service to be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 8 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316, with the Reverend Mark Frailey, officiating.
