Carol was married to her best friend, Arthur Wayne White for nearly 60 years, and together, they built a family rooted in love and faith. As a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Carol was known for her kind spirit and devotion to living a Godly life. She continuously uplifted her family in prayer. Carol had a song and a Bible verse for any situation and could always share a tune or a verse that would brighten someone's day.
Carol had an appreciation for the simple things in life and was happy to be at home, surrounded by her loved ones. She could often be found whipping up delicious baked goods in her kitchen, reading in her favorite red armchair or enjoying nature in her screenhouse.
As a mother and grandmother, Carol was dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed watching their sporting events, hearing them sing in their various groups, and cooking for them while they were out hunting. Her fridge was always covered with newspaper clippings about her family's accomplishments, and she was the first to congratulate her family on even the smallest victories. Throughout her life, Carol made sure that her family had time to grow together and bond, so after one of her delicious feasts was served, Carol and her family would often gather in the living room and reminisce about old memories or play one of her favorite games.
Carol dedicated her life to loving and caring for those around her. From a home-cooked meal to a thoughtful prayer, she always handed out the perfect piece of comfort. Carol was deeply involved in her church life at Carmel Baptist in Mosiertown, PA, where she sang in the choir, was the President of the Ladies Missionary Fellowship and taught Sunday and Bible School lessons throughout most of her life.
Carol is survived by her husband Wayne White, her children-Dave White (wife Trisha) of Crossingville, Randy White (wife Julie) of Edinboro, and Cindy Benedict (husband Dean) of Hughesville, Pa. She is also survived by her grandchildren-Karleigh King (Adam), Derek Benedict (Erica), Austin Benedict (Libby), Adam White, Riley White, Jackson White and Amanda White, as well as her great-grandchildren Magnolia and Tahlia King.
Carol came from a family of ten children and is survived by her sisters Betty (Jerry) Sheldon, Lillian Andrews and Alvira Griffis. Along with her mother and father, Carol was preceded in death by her two twin sisters, who died at birth, her two brothers Raymond (Joyce) Davis and Richard (Gladys) Davis and her sisters Ruth (Harold) Little and Ellen Dunton.
