Charles Ned Mervine TOWNVILLE - Charles Ned Mervine, 75, of Townville, passed away, Sunday, December 2, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born in Meadville, PA on January 4, 1943, son of the late Dr. Ned Dewar and Ruth Jackson Mervine.
Charles owned and operated Meadville Moving and Storage, Daniel's Transfer and Mervine Brothers. He was a proud Mason for many years and enjoyed auto racing and traveling, especially to New Mexico. He was a member of AA for 48 years. Charles fought Parkinson's disease for over 22 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Maria Elena Mervine, of Erie; four sons, John Charles Mervine of Meadville; James Dewar Mervine and his wife Alicia of Townville; Jeffrey Alan Mervine of Meadville and Karl Wilhelm Mervine of Erie; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren; also his brother Robert Mervine and his wife Patricia of Reading, PA.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Ann Mervine.
A Celebration of Charles' Life will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Christ Evangelical Free Church, 19682 Hill Road, Saegertown, PA 16433, from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service at 4:00 P.M.
The Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 33353 N. Main Street, Townville, PA 16335, has been entrusted with the care of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family c/o The Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home. 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

My sincerest condolences to your entire family . I met mr. Mervine many decades ago. I found him to be one of the friendliest and most sincere gentleman I I ever met. My only regret is not spending more time with him to get to know him better. May he rest in Eternal peace.
