David Paul Mosser, 75, residing in Meadville, PA and formerly of Sandusky, OH passed away early Thursday morning, February 8, 2018 following a brief illness.
David was born on December 13, 1942 in Sandusky, OH to the late Paul A. and Martha Mary (Sumser) Mosser.
David graduated from Sandusky St. Mary's High School in 1960 and received his engineering degree from the University of Dayton. He was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Meadville, PA. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, cooking and spending time with his family.
David is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jeanette (Long) Mosser, whom he married on October 28, 1967. He is also survived by his son, Scott (Hilary) Mosser; daughter, Joanne (John) Gill; grandchildren, Alexa Mosser, Emma, Cora, Anna and Abraham Gill; sisters, Sharon (John) Herhold and Janine (Michael) Kundrat; brother, Douglas (Theresa) Mosser and numerous other relatives.
Friends may call on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
