David R. Patterson, 80, of Meadville passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Meadville Medical Center. He was born on June 27, 1937 in Hadley, Pennsylvania a son of Williard and Musetta Patterson. He married Sandra Arndt, she survives.
David was a loving husband, father, step-father and grandfather. He was a storyteller as he shared many childhood stories. He liked to take frequent drives to his hometown Hadley as he shared childhood memories when looking at the surroundings.
He enjoyed working outdoors, watching sports, home improvements as well as painting and wood working projects. He was a perfectionist as he wanted all of his projects done to perfection.
David graduated from Hadley School District in Hadley, Pennsylvania. He was employed at Hadley Block Paint and Retired from Wesbury Retirement Community.
In addition to his loving wife Sandra; he is survived by a son, Perry Patterson and his wife Darlene; two daughters, Kim Stuart and Deanna Boyd; three step-children, Shelley Johnson, Sean Johnson and Sherri Johnson; grandchildren, Scott Rudd, Troy Rudd, Danielle Patterson, Cheyenne Patterson, Dakota Patterson and Zackery Boyd; step-grandchild, Celelia; sister in law, Margaret Patterson; niece, Tracie Runyon and her husband, Randy; great-nephews, Riley and Rogan Runyon.
David is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Wray Patterson and Kenneth Patterson, and a sister in law, Donna Patterson.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral services at 2:00 P.M. at RYAN M. WARREN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville.
Burial will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, Meadville, Pennsylvania.
