Mr. Donald L. Offi, 83, of 771 Market Street, Meadville passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at home.
Don was born in Meadville on September 6, 1933, the son of the late Michael and Mina (Matteson) Offi.
Donald married Joyce Sheakley; she preceded him in death on October 17, 2016.
For 25 years Donald was associated with Economy Roofing which was owned by his brother George. A veteran of the Korean Conflict, Don entered the U.S. Air Force on January 11, 1952 and served his country honorably until his discharge on February 10, 1956. He was a member of the Italian Civic Club and enjoyed golfing and bowling.
Don is survived by two daughters Dawn Offi, Patricia Offi-Reaugh, three grandchildren Jason, Dallas, Brian, a sister Helen First, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Joyce, Don was preceded in death by three sisters Ann Camasi, Adalaide Farkus, Pauline Dinger, three brothers, Tom, George and Albert Offi.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 12-2 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Walton, Pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
Don will be laid to rest next to his wife, Joyce, in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006.
