Elizabeth J. Vozar, 52, of Meadville passed away on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017. She was born on June 26, 1965, in Meadville, a daughter of Stephen Vozar Sr. and Betty (Thomas) Vozar.
She was known as "The Cookie Lady" for many years at the Market House and later worked in food service at Wesbury prior to her cancer diagnosis.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Susanne Christine Victoria Vozar, of Coraopolis, PA; two sisters, Susanne (Vozar) Kelly of Meadville and Victoria (Vozar) Bayer of Coraopolis, PA; four brothers, Stephen A. Vozar Jr. and his wife Jan of Meadville, Robert V. Vozar and his wife Ann of Kansas City, Kansas, Timothy E. Vozar and his wife Meg of Houston, Texas, and Michael J. Vozar of Meadville and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Christine (Vozar) Buschelman, and a brother, Joseph A. Vozar.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Tuesday, Sept. 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. with a prayer vigil service at 6:45 p.m. at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine Street, Meadville with Father Tom Trocchio, Parochial Vicar, officiating.
Burial will be in St. Agatha Cemetery, Meadville, PA.
