Felix O. (Frog) Krause III, 78, of Conneautville, PA, passed away the evening of May 20, 2017 at Rolling Fields in Conneautville, PA.
Born on March 25, 1939 in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late Felix Jr. and Pearl Withrow Krause. On April 14, 1960, he married his beloved wife, the former Blanche Duffy, and the two of them spent over 34 years together until she preceded him in death on May 18, 1994.
Felix had worked for Airway Luggage. He also served his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. An avid outdoorsman, Felix enjoyed fishing and hunting. He attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Felix is survived by his children, Bonnie Combs and husband David of Loris, SC, Felix Krause IV and wife Diane of Watkinsville, GA, and Billie Jo Scott and husband Rick of Conneautville, PA; brothers, Charles Krause and John Krause, both of New Castle; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Krause.
Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00am at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Ellen Lundie of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
