Freda M. Rhodes
She was born July 17 1931 at home in Rynd Farm, Oil City, Pa to Earl E. and Goldie B. Buffum.
Mrs. Rhodes worked for over 30 years at Arnold Graphics of Franklin then when they closed she worked for Venango Manor for ten years, retiring in 1991.
Freda was a member of the Donation Hill Bible Church, Cochranton and was active with their Dorcas Ladies group.
She was a member of the Ladies Club of Franklin and also enjoyed gathering with the senior citizens group at the Utica Fire Hall. She loved going out to lunch every day.
Most of all Freda was a homemaker and loved having family dinners and hanging out with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Ivan L. Rhodes, whom she married September 20, 1957, preceded her in death March 14, 2000. She is survived by her children: Karen S. Nestor and husband Steve, Sandy Lake, Tina M. Pegg, Daniel E. Rhodes and his fiancée Barb Rugh, all Franklin, Charles L. "Chuck" Rhodes, Polk, Pa and James E. Rhodes and wife Diane, Sandy Lake; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; a sister Shirley Peterson and a sister-in-law Carol Boyles, both Franklin and a brother-in-law Gerald Lee Rhodes, Rapid City, South Dakota.
In addition to her parents and husband, a son Thomas A. Rhodes, a step-son David Rhodes, two grandsons: Mark A. Nestor and Bradley E. Rhodes, a daughter-in-law Wanda L. Rhodes, four sisters: Helen Young, Sandy Uber, Edna "Butch" Rose and Erma J Dellich and four brothers: Kenneth, Wayne, Edward and Robert "Bud" Boyles preceded her in death.

Calling Hours will be from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM, Friday (11-4-16) in the Scott A. Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, Pa
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday (11-5-16) in the funeral home with Rev. Glenn D. Walker, Pastor, Donation Hill Bible Church, Cochranton.
Interment will be in Mill Creek Cemetery, Utica, Pa.
