Gina Lynne Schell, age 25, of Conneaut Lake, passed away on Sunday, December 24th 2017 at her residence after a valiant battle with osteosarcoma. Gina's family was with her.
She was born on January 14th, 1992 in Meadville, the daughter of John Schell and Stacy (Smock) Cree. Gina graduated from Conneaut Lake High School in 2010 and from Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy with a degree in Cosmotology in 2011. She also attended Edinboro University.
She worked in glass production at the Pittsburgh Glass Works, until her illness prevented her. A Christian lady, she enjoyed camping, hiking, kayaking, and fishing.
Surviving Gina are: her parents- Stacy Smock Cree (husband Joseph) of Lake City; her fiance, Joseph Castile of Conneaut Lake; John Schell (companion Melissa Christopherson) of Cochranton; 2 sisters : Jaimie Marks (fiancé Dean Mong) of Franklin and Brittany Christopherson,of Jamestown, NY; 5 brothers: Christopher Marks (companion Kiersten Delp) of Atlantic; Tanner Schell of Albion, Will Schell of Cochranton, Dakota Christopherson of Jamestown, NY and Zachary Christopherson of Jamestown, NY. Gina's Great grandmother-Barbara Schell; paternal grandmother Cindy L. Kline of Cochranton.
Gina was preceded in death by: Maternal grandfather-Ronald J. Smock of Conneaut Lake and Paternal grandparents William H. Schell Jr. and Joan L. Schell of Cochranton.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 26th 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA , Rocco R. Tedesco III Supervisor. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday, December 27th ,2017 from 10-11 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home with the Reverend Marshall Lily officiating.
Interment will follow at Geneva Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the funeral home or to the Conneaut Lake Ambulance Service, 290 S. 4th Street, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.
