H. Michael Paulson, 60, of Conneautville passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday July 2, 2017, with his loving wife and family by his side. He was born July 1, 1957, in Anchorage, Alaska to John Paulson and the late Elaine Mathis Paulson. He married Cyndi Cornelius January 4, 1988.
He worked for Reliant molding as a foreman and he spent many years in roofing. He served our country in United States Army. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and drag racing. He also enjoyed visiting the medieval faire with his grandson Austin and supporting his grandchildren in their sporting events. He loved spending time with his wife and children, and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Cyndi, Michael is survived by his father John and his wife Charlene of Beach Park, IL; children Tabitha Cassandra (Michael) Sartain of Benton City, WA, Roy (Amanda) Smith of Meadville and Jerry (Kailie Neal) Smith of Springboro; grandchildren Michael Sartain, Jr., Gunner Sartain, Austin Cottrell, Alyssa Smith, Tyler Cottrell and Neveah Smith; brother Brian Paulson; sister Karen Long; Aunt and Uncle Larry and Regina Keller; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother and several aunts and uncles.
Friends and family are invited to memorial visitation hours on Saturday July 8, 2017 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. with full military honors provided by the Erie/Crawford Burial Detail. Rev. Fr. Chris Hamlett will officiate. All services will be held at the funeral home.
