Lenora A. Malliard, 86, of Meadville, passed away peacefully Friday, April 13, 2018 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.
She was born April 25, 1931 in Wexford, a daughter of Willard Bruce and Ethel Davis Taylor. She married Carl E. Malliard February 5, 1955 and he preceded her in death May 19, 1989.
Lenora was a 1949 graduate of Cochranton High School. She retired from CVS Pharmacy in Meadville where she worked as a clerk and cashier.
Lenora was a member of Wayland Baptist Church and former Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting.
Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Dodds and her husband Kenneth of Front Royal, VA and Debbie Jefferson and her husband Ricky of Meadville; two grandchildren, Amy Cokley and her husband Jim and Lori Wisdo and her husband John; six great-grandchildren, Jac Cokley, J.C. Wisdo, Harley Dodds, Lydia Wisdo, Ashley Dodds, and Bradley Dodds, II; two sisters, Gladys Karns of Saegertown and Alberta Greathouse and her husband Bud of Townville; a brother, Larry Taylor and his wife Barb of Somerset; a granddaughter-in-law, Gisella Dodds; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Lee Malliard and a grandson, Bradley Dodds.
Calling hours will be Monday, April 16th from 1-2 p.m. at Wayland Baptist Church, 11603 S. Wayland Rd., Meadville where the funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Daniel Howell officiating.
Interment will be in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
