Mary K. "Kate" (Hoff) DiClaudio, 84, of Linesville, formerly of Elizabeth Township, died Monday, July 3, 2017. She was born April 27, 1933, in Clairton, a daughter of the late Alloysius and Josephine (Dubbs) Hoff. Kate was a member of St. Phillip the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Linesville. She was known as "Cookie Lady Kate." In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James DiClaudio; and sister, Rose Hiscar. Surviving are four children, Cathy (Daryl) Janicki of Stafford, VA, Carole Ann (Patrick) Park of Elizabeth Twp., James DiClaudio Jr. of Linesville, and Maria (Christopher) Yoest of Claysville; nine grandchildren, Eric and Jason Janicki, Jeff and Renee Park, Kristin and Kayla DiClaudio, and Ryan, Erin, and Evan Yoest; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Covelli of Finleyville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 901 Vine St., West Newton, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday.
