Mary's Story

Mary E. Williams, 88, of Titusville, Pa., went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Country Acres Personal Care Home, Titusville, Pa.
She was born November 16, 1928, in Spring Creek, Pa., a daughter of the late Marion and Mary Earles Beers.
Mary was raised and educated in the Garland and Starbrick areas. Over the years, she worked for several local businesses, retiring from Sylvania in Pleasantville, Pa., where she had worked for many years. Mary and her husband Robert spent many years working together on their hobby farm.
Mary was an active member of the Henderson Chapel in Titusville, Pa.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death on July 17, 1991, by her husband Robert L. Williams whom she married on June 27, 1948 in Titusville, Pa.; also by two sisters, Eleanor Beers in infancy and Gertrude Hatten; two brothers, Kenneth and Howard Beers; a son-in-law Robert Gray; a granddaughter Heidi Rhoades and three great-grandchildren.
Mary is survived by a son, James Williams and his wife Debbie of Livingston, TX.; three daughters, Linda Monroe and her husband Ron of Mesa, AZ, Arlene Gray of Titusville, Pa., and Karen Greer and her husband Samuel of Titusville, Pa.; two sisters, Beverly Sayre and her husband Bill of Mesa AZ., and Ruth Beers of Plainsville, CT ; and two brothers, Ralph Beers of Conneaut Lake, Pa., and Paul Beers of Conneautville, Pa.
Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, thirty six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Rometown Community Church, 44364 Harrison Rd., Spartansburg, Pa., on Thursday from 5 pm until the time of the memorial service there at 5:30 pm. Rev. Tim Harger will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Titusville, Pa.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
