Patricia 'Pat''s Story
Patricia "Pat" (O'Mahony) Schepner, a longtime Crafton and Conneaut Lake resident, peacefully on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Wife of the late Edward; loving and fun mother of Charles, Adam (Cathryn), Rob (Karen), David (Jennifer), and the late John (surviving wife, Leanne) Schepner; also survived by 17 grandchildren; sister of Kathleen Barnett, Elaine Schnieders, and the late Carol Robol, Mary Jane Rosepink, Charles and John O'Mahony. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pat had unlimited patience with her five boys and dearly loved her grandchildren. She spent many years comforting others. It is now her time to rest. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends and was Mom to many more than her sons. She always had wise words... and usually knew when to use them. Patty O. missed her calling in show business and had a song for every occasion. She was thoughtful, generous and caring to a fault, loved Halloween, St. Patrick's Day and any other reason to throw a party. She was a relentless prankster, fabulous cook and a professional fruit cutter. Pat volunteered for many organizations: Guild for the Blind, Catholic Daughters of America and the Crafton Crocodile Swim Team. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and fondly remembered. Visitation Thursday 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the SCHEPNER - MCDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Ave., Pittsburgh (Crafton). Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Philip Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Pat's name to St. Philip Catholic School, 52 West Crafton Ave., Pgh., PA 15205.
