I was just informed of Mrs Traversari's passing and wanted to share my deepest sympathies to Mr Traversari,
Megan and Ryan. I loved her sense of humor and love of life. One of my favorite people who was friends with my parents. She was instrumental in my choosing nursing as a profession. I am so sad for you all. Love and hugs from an old family friend and former student of Mr Traversari's.

“Trav” took my under her wing as a new GPN, then became my mentor as a new RN. She had a keen sense of humor, always words of encouragement or advice, and she “had our backs”. She is greatly missed. I have been blessed to know her professionally and personally. Deepest sympathy to you, Mr. Traversari, and your children.

Mr. Traversari...sincere sympathy from a student in your first year at MASH. I remember how you met Pat at Spencer Hospital all those years ago. I also went on to become a nurse. I'm sure the class of 1970 would want to extend their condolences to not only you, but your family also.

Pat, you were an excellent role model for me when I started nursing. When my mom was in Oncology & dying I had to work nights in ICU that night. You came to my moms room & told me to take the night off & be with my mother, thank you for that as she died in the morning. I’ll never forget your kindness & compassion & will always love you. My deepest sympathy to the family. I had the pleasure of interfacing with the "Trav " on many occasions when she did her many years as nurse supervisor at MMC. She had great compassion for the patients and a big heart and a keen sense of humor that I enjoyed immensely. I knew MMC was in good hands when "Trav" was guiding the ship. I will remember her fondly. My sympathy to the family.

Pat,
Words can not explain how I feel. I am very saddened by the loss. You were a great person who in my life filled many shoes. You yelled at me, laughed, and showed me how to be the best I could be. My daughter is also going to miss you so much. You were like her grandma. She always looked for hher little card every holiday. I knew that something was wrong when the card didn't come this time. I really send my deepest sympathies to family! I loved her so much! She was a wonderful woman! She will forever be in my heart!
