R. Scott Eves, 69, of North Ridgeville, OH, formerly of Raymond Drive, Meadville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at home, surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Scott was born in Meadville, on January 22, 1950, a son of the late Robert A. and Betty J. (Bruce) Eves.
On September 27, 1969 Scott married his high school sweetheart, Kathleen Anselmo; she survives.

Scott retired from Griffin Motors as the Financial Manager in 2013 after 35 years of service. Following his retirement Scott was employed by Northwest Pharmacy. He graduated from Meadville Area Senior High School in 1967 where he was a member of the Basketball Team, Golf Team, Student Council and Vice President of his Senior Class. Scott attended New Castle Business College and played on their Basketball Team. For many years he was a hard hitting member of Phil's Grill Softball Team. A former member of the Country Club of Meadville, Scott enjoyed playing in the Friday Night Twilight Golf League with his wife Kathy as well as playing golf with the "Gin Boys". For many years Scott could be found playing basketball in the early morning at the YMCA. I remember Scott and Kathy at our wedding, and I thought they were the most beautiful couple I'd ever seen. Scott many people have told me that we had a resemblence. I'm so proud of that. Say hi to my Mom for me.

They say Easter in Heaven is more than we can imagine . Although those left behind will miss him beyond words, we know he is truly in a better place preparing for the glorious Resurrection of his Lord. Rest peacefully with the angels, cousin. Your work on earth is complete but we know you continue to watch over all of us until we meet again ❤️
