Rachael's Story

Rachael Dillaman Weibel died Friday February 23, 2018 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community. She was born in Hayfield Township on July 15, 1921, a daughter of the late George and Mildred (Graham) Dillaman. She married Irwin (Bud) Weibel February 14, 1942. He preceded her in death August 19, 1983.
Rachael worked at the American Viscose Company, Talon Inc. and at the Ohio Rubber Company in Conneautville for 28 years. She graduated from Meadville High School in 1938 and was a member of what used to be known as Conneautville Baptist Church, now known as Living Hope Community Church, for over 50 years.
She loved to plant gardens and flowers and make braided rugs. She enjoyed visiting with her sons and their families.
Rachael is survived by two sons Douglas (Connie) and Dwight (Nancy) Weibel, six grandchildren, Krista (Steve) Maly, Duane (Jonna) Weibel, Jr., Jason (Rebecca) Weibel, Katherine (Eric) Hostetler, Emily Weibel and Daniel (Sharon) Weibel, and a perfect dozen great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Matthew, Lukas, and Blake Maly, Brody and Jessa Weibel, Dylan and Rhys Weibel, Aiden Hostetler, and Jackson, Olivia, and Gavin Weibel, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Rachael is preceded in death by a son Duane Weibel, Sr. and brothers Edwin, Clayton, Robert, Max, and Richard Dillaman.
Friends and family are invited to call at the Living Hope Community Church, 1205 Main St. Conneautville, PA 16406 on Sunday February 25, 2018 from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM. Former pastor Loren Little will be officiating. Burial Service will be private at Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg, PA.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Living Hope Community Church.
