Tawnya's Story

Tawnya L. Peterson, age 47, of Hartstown passed away on Monday, August, 7, 2017 at UPMC Horizon-Greenville.
She was born on January 8, 1970 in Greenville. The daughter of Ronald Carl Peterson and Debra Gay Reefer.
Tawnya graduated from Conneaut Lake High School. She worked as the bar manager of Vernon Central Hose Company, as a phlebotomist for ExamOne and Apps Medical, and at JM Eagle.
Tawnya was a devoted mother, and loved her family very much. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, riding Harley's with her significant other Mark, going to casinos, Penguins hockey, and the 4th of July. Tawnya was a member of Hartstown Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, Tawnya is survived by a daughter: Courtney Stewart and her boyfriend Luke Peffer of Linesville, a son: Christopher Coates of Hartstown, three sisters: Jennifer Peterson and her significant other Keith Demarco of Meadville, Mary Stein and her husband Chris of Conneaut Lake, and Stephanie Reefer and her significant other Brian of Meadville, three aunts: Darlene Wakefield and her husband Bob, Wilma (Dutch ) Andrews, and Bobbie Jo Bucholz, an uncle Robert Peterson and his wife Janet, a grandmother: Elaine Peterson, and four special nieces and nephews: Elizabeth, Grace, Nevada, and Alex.
Tawnya was preceded in death by her significant other: Mark Stewart, her paternal grandfather: Carl Peterson, maternal grandparents: Isabel Gruver and Clark Reefer, great-grandmother: Leda Sutliff, and an aunt: Nancy Thomas.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 3 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 North Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA, 16316. With Rev. Rachel Johns, officiating.
