Timothy R. Kaider
He was born October 18, 1946, to the late Stanley and Erma (Dillinger) Kaider. He married Patricia Bracha January 27, 1968, in Buzzard Bay, MA. She survives.
Tim graduated from Penn State Capital Campus in 1975 with a degree in Business Administration. He was employed as the Patient Accounting Manager at Spencer Hospital and then the Director of Human Resources at Meadville Medical Center until his retirement in 1999. He was a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force from 1966-1971. Part of his time in the Air Force was served in Japan.
Tim was a member of Our Lady Queen of the America's Church where he was also a Eucharistic minister and a greeter. He was the mayor of Conneaut Lake for 16 years, as a mayor, he was allowed to officiate at weddings which he did many times and enjoyed it very much.
Tim was a member of the Conneaut Lake Historical Society, a volunteer with the Samaritans of Conneaut Lake Area, and a member of the Conneaut Lake Community Development Committee. Tim spent many hours at Oakland Beach Golf Course with his grandsons, son-in-law, and good friends, Tom Kellogg and Joe Staahl.
Tim loved country music and playing the guitar. He was known for his great sense of humor and his story-telling. He was the best ever husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.
Tim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia; two daughters, Susy Nastasi (Michael) of New York City and Cindy Hoesch (Martin) of Conneautville; three grandchildren, Hunter, Lucas and Aidan Hoesch; two sisters, Erma "Punkin" Newcomer (Jacob) of Uniontown, PA, and Cathy Grimes of Uniontown, PA; sister-in-law, Gayle Kaider of Uniontown, PA; sister-in-law, Diane DeFronzo (Donald) of New Britain, CT and sister-in-law, Elaine Puzzo (Paul) of Stuart, FL., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Robert Kaider, John Kaider and his wife, Hilda, and Theodore Kaider.
Family and friends are invited to call Monday, January 7, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory in Conneaut Lake. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church with Father David Carter officiating.
Military honors will be held at the church by VFW 2006. A luncheon will be served after the service at the church hall.
Interment will take place in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery at a later date.
