Dolores E. Schofield, 88, of Harmonsburg, PA passed away Wednesday May 17, 2017 at The Villas at St. Paul's in Greenville, PA. She was born December 16, 1928 in Tyrone, PA to the late Harold and Stella (Cornelius) Fink Woodring. She married John Henry Schofield who preceded her in death on March 27, 2011.
Dolores was employed by Molded Fiber Glass in Linesville for many years prior to retiring. She enjoyed dancing, camping, animals and anything outdoors. She collected dolls and record albums but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by three daughters; Carol (John R.) Hindman of Clearwater, FLA, Audrey (James Walker) Thompson of Espyville, PA, Melanie (Forrest) Mahannah of Dahlonega, GA; a son Charles Humes of Pueblo, CO, seven grandchildren; Brian (Dara) Hindman, Heather (Brian) Edling, Holly (Trevor) Markham, Kimberly (Brian) Pretoka, Joshua (Jennifer) Thompson, Haley (Daniel Zolnai) Thompson, and Travis Humes, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Dolores is preceded in death by a brother Lewis Fink.
Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Saturday May 20, 2017 from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service at 2:00. Pastor Bob Klingler will officiate. All services will be held at the funeral home.
