Elaine Day Sampson, 33, of Meadville, died suddenly Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born September 13, 1983 in Titusville, a daughter of Judy Corey and Lyle Day Sampson.
Elaine was a graduate of the Bible Baptist School and attended Edinboro University. A gifted artist and singer, Elaine worked in sales and was a home healthcare provider. She was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Kasey Day Walker at home; her mother, Judy Corey of Meadville; her maternal grandmother, Twila Corey of Meadville; two aunts, Sally Fulmer and her husband Chuck of Titusville who were near and dear to her heart and Debbie Maloney and her husband Mike of Meadville; an uncle, Eric Corey and his wife Becky of Youngsville, NC; two half-brothers, Jon Sampson and his wife Mandy of Tonawanda, NY and Jerime Sampson of Titusville; two half-sisters, Jill-Lyn Wofford of Parma, OH and Abby Chaklos of Rochester, NY; Maria Sampson of Townville; best friends, Jacob Rossey, Brittany Tenon and her husband Bill, Dave Shabica, Shannon Pavlick, and Kate Hull; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father; an aunt, Beth Ellen Corey; and an uncle, Steven R. Corey.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 30th from 10 to 11 a.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where a memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rich King of Living Waters Church officiating.

Elaine was a kind-hearted beautiful soul, who was a dedicated and loyal friend to many. Above all, she adored her daughter, Kasey, who was the center of her life.
