Nancy's Story

Nancy Jane Pipper, Willow Street, Meadville passed away at 6:50 pm on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Allegheny General Hospital Pittsburgh. She was 68.
Nancy was born in Cochranton, on February 2, 1949 a daughter of the late Leland and Mary Ellen (Yoder) Christner. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, working puzzles and sewing. Nancy was of the Catholic faith and had attended St. Brigid. Roman Catholic Church, Meadville. She was a member Crawford County CHAPS program.
Nancy is survived by two sons, Daniel Pipper and his wife Mandy of Saegertown and Aaron Pipper of Meadville; 4 sisters, Miriam Benson of Poway, CA, Catherine Christner of Cochranton, Alice Gingerich and her husband David of Uniontown, Ohio and Juanita Christner of N. Canton, OH.; two brothers, John Leland Christner and his wife Sharon of Meadville and Timothy L. Christner and his wife Wilma of Fairfield, Montana; Three grandchildren, Danell Rahni and her husband Raheem, Natasha Theberge and her husband David and Zachary Looser.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Darciea Looser; a son, Joshua Andrew Pipper; three brothers, Stephan Paul Christner, Andrew L. Christner and James L. Christner.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, May, 27, 2017 at 10:30 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville. Cremation through the funeral home crematory will follow. Friends and family may call on Friday at the funeral home from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm and are invited to share memories and condolences online with the family at www.snyderfh.com.
