Richard Rynd Stepchuck, 12, of Meadville was fatally killed Tuesday, May 30, 2017 after being struck by a truck while riding bikes with his best friend Skylar Morris.
He was born September 21, 2004 in Akron, OH a son of Jon Robert Stepchuck and Emmalene Snow Crick. He proudly attended Meadville Area Middle School where he was an honor roll student and recently had been accepted into the 3-D Printing Club. He was brilliant at fixing computers and enjoyed fishing and his playstation 4. He was an angel on earth and loved by everyone he met.
He is survived by his mother Emmalene Snow Crick and stepfather Rick Crick and his sister, Mandie Stepchuck all of Canton, OH. He resided with his great aunt and great uncle Sharon and John Christner and their son, Titus of Meadville. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Debbie and Rocky Snow of Akron; uncle Rocky and aunts, Carrie and Chrissy also of Akron, OH; grandfather, Merle Weir and grandmother, Crystal Gill of Meadville; aunts Lori Jackson and Sandra Stepchuck of Saegertown; uncles Keith Stepchuck of Syracuse, NY and Randall Stepchuck of Conneaut Lake; great uncle Darryl M. Stepchuck of Rock Creek, OH and his daughter and husband, Jody and Steve Burbach of West Farmington, OH and several loving cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jon Robert Stepchuck February 4, 2011 and his paternal grandfather, Richard H. Stepchuck.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, INC., 581 CHESTNUT STREET, MEADVILLE. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John F. Bargar, officiating.
Interment will be in Cochranton Cemetery.
