Robert W. Bush, age 85, of N. Summit Rd., Jamestown passed away Friday morning 7-21-17 in his residence. He was born in Jamestown, PA on July 28, 1931 a son of G.D. and Ruth (McBroom) Bush. He was a graduate of Jamestown High School and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. On August 10, 1953 he married the former Nila Barham, she survives. He attended Jamestown Presbyterian Church and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bob was a farmer and worked on the family farm for 64 years.
He is survived by his wife of Jamestown; two sons, Gregory Bush and his wife Susan of Conneaut Lake, Dennis Bush of San Diego, CA; a daughter, Paula Bohlen and her husband Ken of Jamestown; seven grandchildren, Kristin Rebstock, Meagan Waters, Adam London, Drew London, Carly London, Miles Bush, and Shelby Bush; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Fisk.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday 8-11-17 at the family farm 504 N. Summit Rd., Jamestown with Rev. Paul Leone officiating. Inurnment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
