Allison Park, PA - Anne DePhilip Windish, 89, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless, from a sudden illness, after having lived for the past 2 years at Vincentian Terrace Place in Allison Park.

She was born in Pittsburgh, on November 14, 1936, the first of 7 children born to Joseph and Helen (Garrahan) DePhilip.

After graduation from St. Canice High School, Pittsburgh, she attended Duquesne University where she graduated with a BS in Pharmacy in 1959.

Anne spent her career as a Registered Pharmacist working mostly in retail stores in Ohio and Delaware. She loved her family and enjoyed sewing, Contra dancing and traveling to Europe and throughout the US, especially cruising the Ohio River aboard the Delta Queen. After she retired, Anne returned to Pittsburgh and was active as a volunteer usher at Benedum Center and as a videographer of daily Mass at St. Paul's Cathedral in Oakland. She enjoyed attending classes at Pitt and Carnegie-Mellon through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

Anne was predeceased by her husband Howard, her parents, and brothers Joseph DePhilip, Jr. and John DePhilip.

She is survived by children Donna Kiser of Stow, OH, George Francis Davis, Jr., of Pittsburgh; grandchildren Christopher Kiser of Edinboro, Frances Davis of Minneapolis, MN, and Rocio Abalos of Pittsburgh; siblings Lynn Cullen of Meadville, Robert (Diane) DePhilip of Westerville, OH, Rosemary (Gary) Wolbert of Sigel, and Rita (Michael) Walker of Meadville.

Services will be private when Anne is laid to rest in St. Agatha Cemetery, Meadville.
