Springboro, PA - Arlene M. Blood, 87 of Springboro passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday June 30, 2026. She was born June 4, 1939 to the late Clayton Plott and Ethel Davies. She married Gerald F. Blood on March 2, 1955. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2022.

As a lifelong adventurer, Arlene spent much of her time traveling all over the United States with her husband Gerald, including a many weeks drive traveling to and from Alaska. In her younger years she participated on multiple bowling teams and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Her welcoming spirit, love for cooking, baking, and quality time designated her home as the top spot for family gatherings. Her days after retirement were spent often with her grandkids playing card games, making snacks, playing sports outside, and taking them along on adventures. Her outgoing personality ensured she never met a stranger and her fiery wit will always be remembered by those she loved.

Left to cherish her memories are her four children; Roger (Robin) Blood, Rick (Sheryl) Blood, John (Sandy) Blood and Robin (Brian) Miller. 18 Grandchildren; Carol, Kyle, Ryan, Rebecca, Laura, Ricky, James, Jesse, Joshua, Victoria, Angie, Kayla, Darlene, Cassie, Doug, Adrian, and Jennifer. As well as 38 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by five brothers; Clyde, Buzz, Butch, Bill and Larry Plott and a sister Carol Kidd, a daughter-in-law; Paula Blood and a son-in-law; Charles Miller.

All services will be private.
