Bruce Alan Smith Sr.
Bruce Alan Smith Sr., 66, of Meadville, PA passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Bruce was born on June 12, 1953 in Erie, PA, the son of the late Richard Smith and Ruth (Bush) Smith. Bruce married Sharon (Tost) Smith on April 26, 1974. She survives.
Bruce was a hardworking man who provided for his family. Through the years, he worked at multiple jobs. Most recently, he worked at the scrap yard in Erie.
Bruce loved to fish, play bingo and watch demolition derbies, but most of all; he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Along with his wife, Bruce is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Huffman and her husband, Noel of Meadville; Jennifer Smith and her fiancé, Norman Alan of Pulaski, PA; two sons, Jeremy Smith and his significant other, Ashley Kendall of Pulaski, PA and Scott Rowe and his wife, Katherine of South Carolina. Eleven grandchildren; Destiny Doggett and her significant other, Bo Gosnell, Shelby Smith, Joshlyn Doggett, Dakota Smith, Sean Freed, Giovanni Waters, Tiffanie Smith, Alexandria Smith, Emma Mrvantiz, Cheyenne Rowe, and Travis Smith, whom was raised by Bruce and Sharon; two great- grandchildren, Abel Doggett and Preston Smith; one brother, Francis Smith of Girard, PA and many nieces and nephews.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bruce Alan Smith Jr.; a sister and many brothers.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday October 2, 2019 at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home, 614 Baldwin Street Meadville, PA from 2:00-4:00pm.
