Meadville, PA - Carmella A. Fischer, 95, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Juniper Village.

Carmella was born in Meadville on March 26, 1930, a daughter of the late Joseph and Madeline M. (Euliano) Jones.

On December 16, 1988, Carmella married Frank C. Fischer; he preceded her in death on November 30, 2018. On April 7, 1967, she married Ernest "Ernie" J. Nuzzulo; he preceded her in death on November 24, 1982.

She was an active member St. Mary of Grace Church, Meadville, and its Altar Rosary Society.

From 1948 until the store closing in 1979, Carmella had been employed by the former A & P Grocery Store. Following the store closing, she became employed by Jack's Pharmacy until 1989. In her earlier years she worked at the former Woolworth's Store. She attended Meadville schools and was a former member of the Italian Civic Club Auxiliary.

Carmella is survived by a sister, Anna Ferguson of Greenville; sister-in-law Joyce Gionti of Meadville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husbands, Carmella was preceded in death by brothers Clement "Sonny" Gionti, John Gionti; nephew Anthony "Tony" Jones; twin great-nieces Maria and Lucia Gionti.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10 AM at St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, with Father Jeff Lucas, Pastor, officiating.
