Meadville, PA - Carol A. Burchard, 83, of Meadville, PA, passed away on June 8, 2025, at her residence. Carol was born on February 6, 1942, in Charleston, WV, to the late Edith and Paul Dahlin.

Carol retired in 2008 from the Crawford County Assistance Office. Her first teaching job was at Maplewood Head Start for almost 10 years. Carol attended West Virginia University and later graduated from PennWest Edinboro University with her Bachelor's Degree in education. Carol was a former member of the First United Methodist Church in Greenville, PA, and of the United Evangelical Free Church of Guys Mills, PA. Carol loved to sing at church when she was very active at attending. She served on the advisory board of Active Aging. Carol also enjoyed reading and being on computers.

Carol is survived by her children, Randy Francisco and his partner Christa, Charlie (Rebecca) Francisco, Dale (Jan) Francisco, and Vicky Buzzard; her grandchildren, Kevin & Tony Francisco, and Courtney Buzzard; her great-grandchildren, Kailee and Zoey Francisco; and her sisters, Shirley Kahle and Sandra (Willard) Brogan.

Carol was preceded in death by her brothers Daniel and Glenn Dahlin, and her sister Beverly Gray; as well as her husbands, William Francisco, Clarence Gordon, and Francis "Moe" Burchard.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Waid Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 581 Chestnut St. MEADVILLE, PA, 16335. Friends and family will be welcome at the funeral home on Thursday, June 12, from 10am-12pm, where a funeral service will take place following visitation at 12pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the United Evangelical Free Church of Guys Mills, PA.

Interment will be at Peters Cemetery.
