Meadville, PA - Carol J. (Young) Page, age 76, of Meadville, passed away on Friday morning, July 3, 2026, in Meadville Medical Center Transitional Unit.

She was born in Erie, PA, on March 26, 1950, the daughter of Laverne Oliver Young and Theophila Wilczyska.

She was a 1968 graduate of McDowell Senior High School and continued her education at Edinboro University, where she earned dual master's degrees in mathematics and library science. She dedicated 27 years to teaching at Meadville Junior and Senior high schools. Passionate about education, she took great pride in helping students not only understand mathematics but also develop a genuine appreciation for it.

On August 19, 1972, Carol married John Douglas "Jack" Page; he survives.

Carol was a member of Stone United Methodist Church, Rota Literary Club, and loved quilting, embroidering, scrapbooking, and spending time with the grandkids. She especially enjoyed quilting blankets for the grandchildren.

For decades, she handled significant health challenges with extraordinary grace, rarely complained, and with remarkable resilience. She never allowed those issues to impact her kindness or determination.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years; a son, Bryan Page (Luce Markley) of Minneapolis, MN; two grandchildren, Patrick Blaede of Meadville, Hunter Blaede of Meadville; two brothers, Robert Young of Williams, W.V., and Ed young of Flagstaff, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Nichola Page.

Family and friends will be received on July 8, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the time of service in ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE. A Funeral Service will be held on July 8, 2026, at 4:00 PM in the funeral home, with Pastor Sam Marchetta officiating.
