Catherine M. Hosick, age 83, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, in Marquette Hospice House, Meadville.

She was born in Townville, PA on April 24, 1941, and she was a daughter of Floyd and Ruth Claypool Huckleberry. She married Edward W. Hosick, Jr. on July 14, 1958, he preceded her in death on April 7, 2004.

Cathy was a graduate of Meadville High School. She worked in production in the cleanroom at C&J Industries before retiring in 2003. She enjoyed reading and in her younger years loved to sew. Cathy also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include sons, Edward W. Hosick III and his wife Annette of Erie, Harry Hosick and his wife Kim of Guys Mills; one daughter, Janice Mercier of Conneaut Lake; eight grandchildren, Harry James Hosick Jr., Timothy Lee Hosick, Kayla Marie Guthrie, Jeremy Michael Hosick, Matthew Ryan Hosick, Justin Lee Hosick, Kenneth Lee Hosick and Braden Joseph Mercier; two stegrandchildren, Raeann Davis and Dawnelle Luppe and five stepgreat-grandchildren, Shawna Davis, Bridgette Carner, John Cottrell, Aaron Luppe and Rebecca Luppe and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Kenny Hosick, daughters-in-law Theresa and Terri Hosick, and son-in-law George Mercier.

Calling hours will be from 4 pm - 6 pm on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake. A funeral service will follow at 6 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
