She graduated from Cochranton High School and had her Beauty Shop in her house for several years in Cochranton.
Charlsie was also a member of the Deckard's United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star, and enjoyed crocheting and being a homemaker.
Her daughters, Ann Johnson Miller and Carmen Sheets, survive and live in Central, SC. Also, a sister in law, Arlene Halterman. 5 step grandchildren, Shawn, Ben and Eric Miller and Todd and William Sheets 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Lena Hise, Mary Jane Deeter, Violet Grossman, and Fairy Sheets and 2 brothers, Jessie and Raymond Halterman.
Friends and family will be received at the DICKSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 123 S. Franklin St., Cochranton on Thursday from 2-5pm. The funeral will be at 11:00am Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Frank Weingard, officiating.
Interment will be in Peter's Cemetery.
