David Michael Bahurinsky, 80, of Meadville, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at Greenfield Nursing Home, Erie.

David was born in Front Royal, VA. on August 16, 1944, a son of the late Michael and Marian (McCain) Bahurinsky.

Dave retired in 2004 from Meadville Forge, Inc. as a Supervisor and Quality Control Inspector. He began his career in 1976 in the Grinding Room and finished with 28 years of service. He was a 1962 graduate of Meadville High School. Dave belonged to several local clubs and enjoyed making his rounds either daily or weekly. His memberships included Taylor Hose, Meadville American Legion #111, Saegertown American Legion #205, Meadville VFW #2006, Meadville Eagles #429, Vernon Central #23, Vernon Volunteer Fire Dept. #27 and The Loyal Order of the Moose #472, Conneaut, Ohio. Dave had a passion for the outdoors as he enjoyed photography, hunting, fishing and camping. He loved to travel having taken several trips to Hawaii, and to the Outer Banks for 19 consecutive years, and he had many hunting excursions. His greatest enjoyment came from camping and all of the time that he spent at Evergreen Lake Camp Ground, Conneaut, Ohio.

Dave is survived by his son Stephen Bahurinsky (Nida) of Maryland, a brother Dennis Bahurinsky (Nancy) of Meadville, nieces and nephews.

Dave was preceded in death by his sister Norma Bayer.

No services are being planned as per Dave's request.
