Deborah (Debbie)  Baker
Deborah (Debbie) Baker, from Cochranton, age 57, born June 29, 1961 in Lackawanna, NY, passed away at her home, July 4, 2018 unexpectedly.
She was the daughter of Ray Markle and Phyllis Brocious. Debbie was married to Marvin Baker since July of 1984.
Debbie was a Cochranton High School graduate of 1979. She attended college at University of Pitt at Titusville, Butler Community College, and Clarion University for nursing. She worked for Dr. Bournias of Cochranton for five years, Sugar Creek Station as a CNA for three years, Dr. LaRochelle in Meadville, and also Governor Shaffer before retiring. In her spare time Debbie loved spending time with her grandchildren and dogs. She also enjoyed watching birds, going to craft shows, and gardening.
She is survived by her father, Ray Markle of Polk, her husband, Marvin Baker and three children; daughter Erin Baker (Stephen Harvey) of Cochranton, Morghan Pelsh (Ray) of Erie, and son Nathan Baker of Cochranton. Debbie also was blessed with three grandchildren; Mya Pelsh, Kennedy Baker, and Jacob Harvey.
Debbie was preceded in death by her mother Phyllis Markle, brother Brian Markle, her grandparents, and her mother in law, Joyce Baker.
Family and friends are welcome to attend calling hours Monday, July 9, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at the DICKSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, INC, COCHRANTON. The funeral will follow at 7:00pm with Rev. John McGarvey of the Christian Missionary Church in Cochranton, officiating.
Memorials can be made in Debbie's name to Shriner's Hospital in Erie or the Anna Animal Shelter in Erie.
