Doreen Lynn Giebner Obituary
Doreen Lynn Giebner, 60, of Boyd, Wisconsin, passed away at her residence after a sudden illness.
Born January 31, 1964, in Grove City, PA she was the daughter of Edwin Byrl Giebner and G. Joanne Slater Giebner.
She graduated from Meadville High School in 1982, attended Allegheny College, and served in the US Navy from 1983-1987, followed by service in the Navy Reserves from 1987-1989.
Doreen worked for Lutes Manufacturing and Kerry Industries. She was an avid sports fan, especially devoted to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Survivors include her mother, Joanne Giebner of Sandy Lake; sister, Jodi L. Lias (Doug) of Myrtle Beach, SC; nephew, Braden J. Lias; several cousins, an aunt, and an uncle.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Edwin Giebner.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
