Holmberg (as we all called him in Athens) was an exceptional person. Kind, loving, loyal and funny. Truly a sweet soul. He lived with my sister and her boyfriend for a year and me and my boyfriend for another year. We eventually married those boyfriends. Holmberg was one of the groomsmen at my wedding. We went to visit him when he lived in New York City for my birthday at the end of August in 2001. He tried to convince us to go to the observation deck of the WTC but we thought it was too much money just for an elevator ride for a view. Little did we all know what would happen only a short 11 days later. I wished we would have visited more often but life is busy with 8 kids. I’m glad he is ...at rest and in no more pain. My condolences to his family. He was loved by so many and he will be truly missed!Read more
