Chandler, AZ - Hazel Irene George, 88, passes peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 26, 2026, in Chandler, AZ. Born November 19, 1937, in Utica, she was the daughter of Ralph and Phyllis Long Deeter.
She was a graduate of Franklin High School and attended BMW Training for service writing. She was employed at Porsche Sewickley Audi as a service writer until she retired, and worked beside her husband, Larry, who was the general manager.
Hazel enjoyed gardening, watching birds, coloring and gathering collectibles.
Survivors include her children, Ronald Flickinger of Chandler, AZ, Mark Flickinger of Coeur d' Alene, ID, Cindy Flickinger of Mesa, AZ, Lisa Bambach of Fort Mill, S.C., Sharla Green of Florida and Scott George of Naples, FL; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William Deeter and Jack Deeter; and her husband, Larry George.
Friends and family will be received at the DICKSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 123 S. Franklin St., Cochranton, PA, on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. The Rev. Curtis Brenizer will conduct a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00pm. Interment will be in Peter's Cemetery, Utica, PA.
