Iva Mae Malliard
Iva Mae (Shuffstall) Malliard, 81, passed away peacefully, on Friday Jan. 18, 2019, at Pleasant Ridge Manor, Girard, Pa. She was born July 14, 1937 at Patsill Run, Sugar Creek Twp. Venango County, Pa. daughter of the late Lloyd Thomas and Vera Rose (Burkhardt) Shuffstall. She attended school at Coopertown. She was a nurse's aid at the former Mead Nursing Home, Meadville for 35 years. She enjoyed croucheting, square dancing, and attending Blue Grass Festivals, and spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Francis Calvin Malliard Sr., on Dec. 10, 1993. They were married on June 4, 1955.
She is survived by six children: Melodie Cutshall (Robert) of Cochranton, Robin Malliard, and fiancée (Tom Coffey) of Erie, Rita Motzing (Richard) of Conneaut Lake, Della Henry (James) of Walton, In., Francis C. Malliard Jr. (Lori) of Cochranton, Kimberly Mott (Robert)of Pierpont, Ohio. 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 step great granddaughters, 2 great great- grandchildren and one step great great-grandson.
Additionally she is survived by her brother, Glenn Shuffstall of Polk; and her 4 sisters, Pearl Monarch of Saegertown, Rosalind Fae Warrington (Henry), of Cooperstown, Donna Burk, (Leonard), Cooperstown, and Doris Ann Burdette ( Steve), of Sandy Lake, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Iva was preceded in death by her husband Francis; her 4 brothers, Clifford, Alan, Dearald and Wallace Shuffstall; and her great- grandson Zack Cutshall.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Dickson Family Funeral Home; 123 South Franklin St., Cochranton, Pa. Service will follow at 4 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of Dickson Funeral Home.
