Meadville, Pennsylvania - Janet Marie Strope, of Meadville, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 2, 2025.

She was the daughter of Owen C. Kiser and Eva M. Kiser.

Janet had an unwavering love for the Lord and Savior. Her faith was central to her life, guiding her in all that she did. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and friend. Janet enjoyed a long and fulfilling career, employment was at Talon, Viscose and Walmart.

She was the beloved wife of Eugene Strope.

Janet is survived by her stepson Tom Strope, and her son David Dale Waxman and his wife, Laura Waxman; her grandson Austin Paul Williams; her brother Harvey L Kiser and his wife, Sandy Kiser; brother Daryl Kiser and his wife, Harriet Kiser, as well as her sister-in-law Linda Kiser. This includes many nieces, nephews, and extended family who cherished and honored her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen Kiser and Eva M Kiser; her husband Eugene Strope; her daughter Katherine L. Patterson; and her brothers Marvin B. Kiser and Dale A. Kiser.

Janet will be remembered for her strong faith, her family and the kindness she shared with others. She lived a life devoted to her Lord and Savior and now rests in His eternal peace.
