Jeremy Louis
Jeremy Louis "Mo","Moey" Morton, 40, of Meadville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 3, 2019.

He was born December 29, 1978 in Ashtabula, OH, a son of Louise Morton and Robert Lyons. He married Jennifer Zimmerman October 23, 2004.

Mo was a 1998 graduate of Conneaut Valley High School. He worked at Advanced Cast Products for 10 years and previously at Walmart.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing but especially loved to dance with Jennifer. Mo was a lovable clown who loved to joke around especially with his daughter, and make everyone smile and laugh, and he was an avid Steelers fan.

Survivors, in addition to his loving wife Jennifer, include a daughter, Cassi Ritchey-Morton of Meadville; beloved fur daughters, Cira and Sasha; his mother, Louise Morton of Conneautville, his father, Robert Lyons; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Lyons; cousin/sister, Rhoda Ransom (Paul) of Conneaut Lake and their children Kayden and Landon; aunties, Jearnett Young, Mary Morton and Patricia Terry; uncles, Alonzo Morton and Frank Morton (Susan); and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alonzo and CoraLee Bradley Morton; paternal grandfather, Robert Lyons, Sr.; aunties, Vera, Jerlene, Lucille and Elizabeth Morton and Lorraine Taylor; and great-uncles, Calvin, Johnell, George, Albert, Frank and Charles Bradley.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 6th from 1-4 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville where the funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. Sarah Roncolato officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335.

I am so sorry for your loss. Jeremy was a very polite, sweet, and funny person. I enjoyed working with him at Samuel's store, when he was a teenager. He was always pleasant and fun to be around. I am sure he will be missed by many. Fly high, Jeremy !!!!
