Louis F. Moyers
Louis F. Moyers, 89, of Conneaut Lake died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Meadville Medical Center.

He was born February 19, 1930 in Wheeling, WV a son of Ted Nile and Mary Heizler Moyers. He married Susan L. Vaughn September 24, 1949 and she preceded him in death November 21, 2009.

He grew up in Wheeling, WV, moved to Conneaut Lake in his teens and graduated from Conneaut Lake High School. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army. He was the co-owner of Conneaut Lake Sand & Gravel from 1948-1995. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake and the Conneaut Lake Control Aires model airplane club. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, playing golf and in more recent years, would look for things to keep active enjoying puzzles and other crafts.

He is survived by two sons, Jack Moyers (Janet) of Conneaut Lake and Jeffery Moyers (Suzan) of Clarion; two grandchildren, Jason Moyers (Melissa) of Erie and Jacquelyn Moyers of Rose, OK; two great grandchildren, Rowyn and Archer Moyers; a sister, Nancy Helmreich (Jonathan) of Sanibel, Fl; a sister-in-law Barbara Moyers, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Robert N. Moyers.

Thank you to Tammy, Pebbles, Jacki and all the home nurses who gave Lou round the clock care at home.

Private services will be held by the family with interment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Conneaut Lake Area Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 546, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.
