Marcus Ivan Smith
Marcus Ivan Smith of Dover, Delaware passed away Monday, November 25, 2019. He was 35.
Marcus was born July 18, 1984 at Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Michigan to Robert A. Smith and Patricia Sellers Smith.
He was a graduate of the electrical trades program at Polytech High School and began his apprenticeship with Electrical Associates, Inc. in Hartly and for the last 13 years he was the electrical service manager at Shureline Electrical in Smyrna. Marcus enjoyed hunting water fowl and deer, fishing in fresh and salt water and traveling.
He is survived by his parents Robert and Patricia Smith of Dover and his companion, Haley Jean Sheets of Dover. Aunts and uncles, Ronald Smith and wife Valerie of Cochranton, Linda Smith of Meadville, Bill Sellers of Meadville and Robert Sellers Jr. and wife Barbara of Feeding Hills, MA. Cousins, Lori Guianen (Steve), Lisa Mailliard and companion Lyle, Ron Smith Jr., and companion Penny, Aarrone Schlosser (Zach), Nathan Smith (Kara) and Adam Nageotte (Shirley), all of Cochranton, and Megan Bourguignon (Bill) of Chicopee, MA.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ollie and Alice Smith and Robert and Charlotte Sellers and his brother, Nicholas Smith.

Funeral services will be held at the DICKSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, INC, 123 S. Franklin St., in Cochranton on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2:00pm with the Rev. John Authenreith, officiating. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home from 12:00pm until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Cochranton Cemetery.
