Marguerite  Anekite
Marguerite Maryanne Anekite, 98, formerly of Saegertown, and Conneautville, passed away peacefully Thursday November 7, 2019 at Highland Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Highland Heights, Ohio. She was born the daughter of the late Merle and Grazella (Duval) Caird. She married Eli Anekite who preceded her in death April 29, 2001.
Marguerite earned her bachelors and masters degrees in education from Edinboro University. As a Special Education teacher, along with her excellent teaching skills she filled hundreds of children's lives with love and acceptance. She loved playing duplicate bridge and belonged to the Meadville Bridge Club for many years. She was also an award-winning Mary Kay representative and made lifelong friends along the way.
She is survived by a son, David (Sandra) Brunton, three grandchildren, Laurel (George) Brown, Gregory (Kira) Brunton and Douglas (Tricia) Brunton, eleven great-grandchildren, Geoffrey, Christopher, Grace, Henry, Evangeline, James, Louisa, Mariel, Ryan, Sarah, and Jacob, plus two Nieces, Patty and Melissa, and three Nephews, Glen, Timothy and Mark.
In addition to her parents and husband Eli she is preceded in death by a brother Charles Caird.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday November 16, 2019 from 11AM to 1 PM with a service to begin at 1PM at McCauley Funeral Home 1405 Main St. Conneautville, PA. Interment will take place in Venango Cemetery.
