Cambridge Springs, PA - Mark Anthony Mattis, age 60, of Cambridge Springs passed away unexpectedly on June 10, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital. Mark was born in Erie on June 11, 1964, the son of Anthony Daniel Mattis and Pearl Elizabeth Holfelder Mattis.
Mark attended Cambridge Springs High School and worked as a roofer for thirty-nine years, retiring in 2024 from AW Farrell and Son Roofing, Erie. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycling, and flower gardening. Mark crafted flintlock rifles and was a frontiersman reenactor.
Survivors include his companion and best friend Dina Ann Heile of Cambridge Springs, sister Linda Smolinski of Cambridge Springs, stepmother Jean Mattis of Erie, stepsister Amy Mattis-Ward of Pittsburgh, stepsister Julie Mattis of Pittsburgh, and many other family members and friends.
