Meadville, PA - Phyllis Marie Easley, age 88, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, July 17, 2025. Born to Beatrice Marie (Roberts) and Clinton Karns Wykoff on November 25, 1936, Phyllis graduated from Cambridge Springs High School in 1954. After graduation, Phyllis moved to California to live with her grandparents. With her love for travel, Phyllis worked as a reservations specialist with United Airlines for forty-two years. A coworker introduced her to Thomas O. Easley in 1959, and they married on March 17, 1962, in San Fernando Valley, California. They lived in Los Angeles, CA until her retirement in 1992 when they moved back to Pennsylvania to be with family. Back in Pennsylvania, Phyllis worked part time at AAA, mentoring and lending her expertise locally. Phyllis and Tom built a home on Easy Acres perfectly suited to host her gift of hospitality. Phyllis and Tom happily entertained, throwing numerous Christmas parties, showers, weddings, graduation parties, class reunions, baptisms and more. They used their home to love their friends and family by having Easter egg hunts, bonfires, and holiday gatherings. After twenty years, they downsized to their present home in Wesbury's Thoburn Village. Phyllis volunteered in the gift shop, the Wesbury Foundation and the Sunset Auxiliary. From 2008-2025, Phyllis served as Sunset Auxiliary Vice President, President and President Emeritus respectively. She loved baking and organizing the annual bake sale and contributing to various annual and special projects for over twenty years. Phyllis was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
