Ruth M. Yarnell
Cochranton, PA - Ruth M. Yarnell, 75, of Cochranton, PA died Monday, September 23, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.
Born on January 7, 1944 in Cochranton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Brock. She married Darwin (Buck) Yarnell on June 1, 1962 and he survives.
Ruth was a very dedicated wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Ruth graduated from Cochranton High School in 1961. She worked at Domer's Golden Dawn and retired from First National Bank. She loved being with her family, playing cards, shopping and traveling.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Roger Yarnell and his wife Stacey of Madison, OH, Darla Dietrich and her husband Kurt of Ellicott City, MD, Charles Yarnell and his wife Teresa of Cochranton, PA; seven grandchildren Kaylee and Nathan Yarnell; Amber, Jennifer and Evan Dietrich; Jacob and Abby Yarnell; a sister, Peggy Rodgers and her husband Gary; sister-in- law Lois Gilliland; brother-in-law Duane Hart; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her best friend Della Wright.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Karen Yarnell; two sisters, Dorothy Rough and Marian Hart; and a brother, Donald Brock.
The family will receive friends at DICKSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, INC., , 123 S Franklin Street, Cochranton from 4-7 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2019 followed by a service at 7:00 with David Brumagin officiating.
