Sandra L. (Hotchkiss) Sterling, 60 of Meadville, formerly of Hopewell, PA, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at her home. She was born in Meadville on May 1, 1961, the daughter of the late Paul and Pearl Hotchkiss.

Sandra was a graduate of Northwestern High School, Class of 1979. She attended DeVry University Ohio and earned a degree in computer science. She worked as a service technician for NCR Corporation for 38 years. She was a member of Edinboro United Methodist Church.

Sandra enjoyed camping, caring for her flowers and plants, decorating her home for every holiday, and riding the Harley Davidson. She loved baking for her family and taking well deserved vacations.

She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Sterling; and a brother, John Hotchkiss in 2013.

Survivors include her loving husband of 33 years, Mark Sterling; a son, Timothy Sterling of Seneca, PA; a daughter, Melissa (Ryan Matheny) Sterling of Fleming, OH; two brothers, David (Annette) Hotchkiss of Edinboro and James Hotchkiss of Erie; two sisters, Carol (Frank) Jara of Hanlontown, IA and Marla (Lewis) Broyles of Canton, GA; four grandchildren, Emerson, Reagen and Jackson Slaubaugh and William Matheny; also, her mother-in-law, Joan Sterling; brother-in-law, Gary Sterling; sister-in-law, Chris (Steve) Russell; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held for Sandra's family on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Edinboro United Methodist Church, 113 High St., Edinboro, PA.
