Tom H. McHale
Tom H. McHale, age 68, of Conneaut Lake, PA, went to be with God on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. He was born on December 25, 1951 in Pittston, PA to the late Thomas McHale and Margaret McGuire McHale. He married Theresa Bowman. They enjoyed 33 years together.
Tom graduated from Meadville High School in 1970. He worked for Sadsbury Township and has enjoyed his retirement for the last several years.
He was very spiritual and his faith in God was strong.
He was a drummer since the age of 12 and played in several bands over the years, including Stonewall. Tom enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and raising and riding horses, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, who brought great joy to him.
Survivors in addition to his wife Theresa include four daughters; Shelly Grieser of Conneaut Lake, PA, Jennifer McHale (Jamie) of Florida, Trisha Wilson (Larry) of Meadville, PA and Billie Meacham (Jeremy) of Cochranton, PA; one son, Brent Gilchrist of Meadville, PA; 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; one sister, Michele McHale; three brothers, Pat McHale (Peg) of Meadville, PA, Jim McHale (Cathy) of South Carolina and Pete McHale (Denise) of Meadville, PA.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Marc McHale and Christian McHale; his daughter, Monica Kelley, and grandson, Trenton Sturrock.
Family and friends are invited to call at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. 2nd St., Conneaut Lake, PA 16316 on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The service will be held at the funeral home Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Geneva Cemetery.

I know Tom from our teen years. We played in a band together at Conneaut Lake. We shared some great adventures. He was a truely gracious, and fun guy. I'm very sad to hear of his passing.

T an T What a great couple. Spent alot of fun times with the two of you and sure going to miss Tommy. Guess you cant say we lost him because we know exactly where he is in the presence of Almighty God!

I am so sorry to hear about Tom’s passing. I am two years younger, but Tom was a huge influence on me as a drummer when we were at Meadville HS. Blessings to Tom and his family. RIP.
